Regium Lepidi Opera & Academy was founded in Reggio Emilia to accompany opera singers from training to the stage. Three souls, one passion: Opera, the Festival and the Academy.
Our name
Regium Lepidi, the place you choose
In 187 B.C. the consul Marcus Aemilius Lepidus had the Via Emilia built, from Rimini to Piacenza, and helped shape the city that still bears his name today: Regium Lepidi, present-day Reggio Emilia.
That road has crossed the centuries, becoming a line of encounter, exchange and growth. It is this ability to look far ahead that inspires us: giving shape to every artist's voice and direction to their journey.
Opera
Full productions with orchestra in the historic theatres of Emilia, with concerts and opera galas throughout the year.
Festival
The Regium Lepidi Opera Festival: every summer a new title at the Teatro B. Asioli in Correggio, with young singers from all over the world.
Academy
The Academy Calliope: technique, interpretation and the stage, with masterclasses led by internationally renowned maestros.

Regium Lepidi Opera takes its projects across Italy and around the world: from the Teatro G. Verdi in Busseto to the Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza, from the Teatro Bibiena in Mantua to the masterclass being prepared in New York.
